St Mirren manager Danny Lennon insists he is hoping to keep Nigel Hasselbaink and Jeroen Tesselaar at the club.
21-year old striker Hasselbaink's one-year deal expires this summer after he joined the Buddies from Hamilton Academical last year whilst 23-year old defender Tesselaar's 12-month contract is also up but Lennon is positive about keeping the pair in Paisley.
"Everyone sees the ability that Nigel has, he's shown that at the beginning of the season and certainly in the latter part of the season.
"Nigel's exciting to watch, he's got a burst of pace but there's still a lot of development in him.
"We're close with Jeroen and we've had a few rounds of talks with him. It would be good to get Nigel and Jeroen tied up.""Nigel's agent is in the country at the moment and we'll have talks with him," Lennon told Record Sport.
