St. Mirren are speaking with former Stoke City manager Paul Lambert about taking over at the club this summer.
Sky Sports reports that Lambert is the prime candidate for the St. Mirren job.
The Scottish club recently lost their manager Jack Ross, who left for the Sunderland job.
They were recently promoted to the Scottish Premiership, which would make the job a lot more appealing to Lambert.
The other names being linked with the job include AlloaJim Goodwin and Livingston manager David Hopking.
