Sean St Ledger says Alan Irvine should be given a chance at West Bromwich Albion.

Irvine was named new Albion manager on Friday.

St Ledger, who also played under Irvine at Deepdale, said: "I know that any player who has played under Alan will speak really highly of him. He is excellent on the training field."
