St Johnstone assistant manager Tommy Wright has rapped Ross County boss Derek Adams for admitting interest in Newcastle United midfielder Mehdi Abeid.

Wright says St Johnstone hope to re-sign Abeid for next season.

Wright told STV: "We have never at any stage said that we don't want to keep Mehdi. I think wherever these stories are coming from, those people should really keep quiet."
