St Johnstone boss Derek McInnes is confident Filipe Morais can be the difference in the Saints battle to remain in the Scottish premier League. The 23 year old set up two goals in St Johnstone's 5-0 Co-operative Insurance Cup triumph at Stenhousemuir.
"Fil gives us a real creativity," McInnes said. "He gives us a wee spark when he gets it.
"He comes in, he can play off the main striker in the hole. He can play right side, off the left side, he is very two-footed. He is bubbly and he makes things happen.
"I had obviously worked with him before but we watched him pretty closely with Inverness in the last few games of the season and we felt he was their spark as well.
"He has continued where he left off last season. I thought he did well for Inverness and I think we were fortunate to get him.
"Hopefully we can see more of that type of performance from him in the forthcoming season."
