St Johnstone’s Lomas expecting another bid for Sandaza

St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas feels that there will be another bid for in-demand striker Fran Sandaza this winter.

The Spaniard has already been the subject of a pre-contract offer from Rangers, which he turned down, and there is interest from elsewhere which suggests to Lomas that another club will come in with an offer for the 14-goal hitman.

“I think there could be another twist in the tale before the transfer window closes,” Lomas said.

“I’m not convinced we can relax yet knowing we will have Fran through to the end of the season. But the sooner the window closes the better as far as I’m concerned.”
