St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright insists Stevie May will not be sold on the cheap.
The 21-year old striker, scorer of 20 goals this season, is again a target for English League One club Peterborough United but Wright is not prepared to let him leave for under the odds.
"Until our valuation is met Stevie will remain our player, and even then it will be down to him," Wright told the Daily Record.
"No one is going to get Stevie on the cheap."
In addition, Saints chairman Steve Brown had confirmed that the club had rejected a bid of around £500,000 for May.
"The terms of Peterborough's bid are not acceptable. They have not met our value of the player," he said.
