St Johnstone have appointed Steve Lomas as their manager, replacing Derek McInnes who departed for Bristol City last month.
The 37-year old former Manchester City, QPR and West Ham United midfielder has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Saints and will be joined by former Northern Ireland goalkeeper Tommy Wright at McDiarmid Park.
It will be Lomas' first senior coaching appointment but will have the experience of Wright to fall on with the ex-Newcastle United and City man having about seven years managing in Northern Ireland, most recently with Lisburn Distillery.
In other St Johnstone news, Geoff Brown has announced he will be stepping down as Chairman of the club after 25 years at the helm.
