St Etienne insist Blaise Matuidi and Mouhamadou Dabo are not for sale.

Arsenal are chasing both players, while Portsmouth are keen on Matuidi as a direct replacement for new Real Madrid signing Lassana Diarra.

St Etienne coach Alain Perrin told RMC: "Regarding departures, Sebastien Grax is allowed to move on because he deserves to play more.

"Matuidi and Dabo are not transferable; they said they don't want to leave the club, which was useful to stop the rumours.

"They are going to finish the season with us."
