St Etienne forward Bafetimbi Gomis has ended rumours of a move to the English Premier League this season by pledging allegiance to his current club.
The French international has been linked with several EPL clubs including Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle and Everton but has said he is happy at St Etienne, at least until the end of the season.
"It is true clubs are following me, but I am at St Etienne and I want to stay until the end of the season," Gomis told Aujourd'hui Sport.
"Then, we will see. It is not my style to quit the club in a difficult position. The team needs me, so I will stay a St Etienne player, which is very clear to me.
"I have prolonged my contract six months ago, so I won't leave."
