St Etienne are mulling over an offer from Chelsea for midfielder Dimitri Payet.
The France international is a target for Liverpool football chief Damien Comolli, who worked with Payet at Les Verts.
However, the Daily Express says last night Chelsea made an £8m offer to St Etienne for Payet.
The midfielder could be on a flight to London this morning for a medical.
