St Etienne hero Jean-Michel Larque has taken a swipe at Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial.

Larque insists Martial doesn't deserve his place in the France team after his performance in the friendly win over Russia.

He told RMC: "Anthony Martial was transparent. He did not bring anything. He lost points.

"He will not go to the World Cup. There are players whose Didier Deschamps is no longer a fan of.

"Dimitri Payet (Marseille), for example, is back in the running and is a very serious competitor for Martial."
