St Etienne are pushing Chelsea to meet their €20 million asking price for Kurt Zouma. Officials from both clubs will meet today to discuss a fee and method of payment for the France international.
Foot Mercato says Les Verts chief Bernard Caiazzo is demanding €20 million, while Chelsea are reluctant to go higher than €15 million.
Chelsea hope to convince St Etienne to drop their price by agreeing for Zouma to return to the French club on-loan for the remainder of the season.
Zouma is tied to St Etienne until 2017.
