Pavel Srnicek admits he has relegation fears for former club Newcastle United.
The former Toon No1 told the Evening Chronicle: "They need to start picking up points.
"They are in a difficult position and have difficult fixtures ahead. Hopefully, it will be OK in the end. But nobody is too big to go down. If you look at the history books, big clubs can go down.
"Manchester City and Leeds have done it. It's not like somebody will feel sorry for the club just because they are Newcastle.
"It's not a major concern just yet, but everybody knows it's a difficult situation. You have to be careful and pick up points now rather than later."
