Srhoj happy with Perth Glory chance

Perth Glory has secured the services of defensive midfielder Wayne Srhoj for the next year. Srhoj played for the Glory back in the NSL days before embarking on a journey to Romania where he experienced a different style of football and new culture with clubs FC National Bucuresti and Politehnica Timisaora.

The 26-year old is keen to get back to Australian football and told the clubs official website his thoughts on the move.

"When I was last here Perth Glory was the standout team in Australian football and I see no reason why they can't be again.

"I'm happy to be back and looking forward to getting onto the pitch in the near future.

"I'm feeling fitter and fitter with every session and I'll continue to work overtime to show the coach I'm ready to go.

"It has been a while since I last played in Australia and I'm really looking forward to putting the Glory shirt back on and getting out there with the boys."
