Tottenham winger Andros Townsend has no regrets over his extensive loan experience.

Townsend admits he actually drove the deals.

He told Sport magazine: "It was actually me banging on the manager's door or banging on [then assistant coach] Tim Sherwood's door, saying: 'I need to go out and play games!' I think on every single loan occasion, it was me that initiated it.

"I just wanted to play first-team football."
