Tottenham will sell Jermain Defoe next month - but not before signing his replacement.
The London Evening Standard says Defoe has been strongly linked with a move to MLS side Toronto and is also a target for West Ham and QPR, but coach Andre Villas-Boas is wary of reducing his options up front.
The 31-year-old is the club's top scorer this season with nine goals and has significantly started the last two League matches, while £26m summer signing Roberto Soldado has been named on the bench.
