Tottenham winger Dele Alli is looking forward to a reunion with Crystal Palace midfielder Jason Puncheon.
Just five years ago he was cleaning boots in Milton Keynes while Puncheon was tearing up League One.
Alli, a £5m signing from the Dons, said: "He was definitely a player I looked up to because he was really exciting to watch.
"When he was at MK he was a great player and everybody thought he was the best player there.
"He is showing how good he is now in the Premier League. I was cleaning the boots and stuff at that time. He was a really good player and we always used to speak about how good he was.
"I didn't clean his boots. I got put on the gaffer's boots, so it was good. It's going to be a bit weird seeing him, obviously, but I am looking forward to the challenge if I get picked."
