West Brom boss Tony Mowbray admits he's unlikely to consider want-away defender Curtis Davies until after the summer market shuts.
The highly rated centre half, who captained Albion last season, has been linked with Aston Villa and Tottenham but, for the moment, remains a West Brom player.
Mowbray said: "There is that much going on around Curtis at the moment that he's finding it hard to get himself in the right frame of mind to play for our football club.
"As I've always said, I only want people who are 100 per cent focused and ready to play.
"The interesting thing will be seeing what frame of mind he's in come September 1 if he's still here. I don't know if he'll be here and neither does Curtis."
