Tottenham are launching a bid for West Ham United defender Matthew Upson.
The Daily Express says Spurs are seeking close to £15million for want-away David Bentley in order to fund bids for West Ham pair Upson and Scott Parker.
The Hammers could be offered Tottenham's out-of-favour right-back Alan Hutton as part of any transfer that sees Upson or Parker head across London to White Hart Lane .
