Tottenham development coach Clive Allen admits they're unsure if Icelandic midfielder Emil Hallfredsson will be sent away on-loan next season.

Allen told the Spurs website: "Emil was away on loan before coming back from Malmo and making a number of appearances. He gave his best in terms of producing in reserve team games, while the whole experience of going out on loan was a good one for him.

"He was playing regular first team football in Sweden, which was good for him, so it must be difficult when players come back after that. He was good within the group and I think next season will be an interesting one for him whether he goes away on loan again or stays here."
