Tottenham are chasing AS Monaco winger Yannick Ferreira Carrasco.

The Daily Star Sunday says Spurs offered £8m for the Belgium international but Monaco want double that for the 21-year-old who scored six times in 36 Ligue 1 appearances last season.

Born in Ixelles, Ferreira Carrasco joined Monaco in 2010 from Belgium side Genk.

Capped three times by Belgium, he scored the last goal of Monaco's 3-1 win at Arsenal in the last 16 of the Champions League.
