Alan Hutton is back at Rangers after a flying visit to London which came amid reports he is close to joining Tottenham.

Hutton rejected a move to the Barclays Premier League side earlier this month but that deal could still go through before the transfer window closes on Thursday.

An £8million offer from Tottenham was accepted by Rangers and Hutton flew south on Sunday for further discussions over the move.

However the deal is still not complete and Hutton could still line up for Rangers in Wednesday's CIS Insurance Cup semi-final against Hearts.
