Danny Drinkwater has rejected a new contract offer at Leicester City.
The Sun says the 26-year-old was offered a new £80,000-a-week deal but the England midfielder looks to be holding out for a higher fee.
And that could be a boost for Tottenham who have been monitoring Drinkwater since Leicester delayed giving him a new deal.
The Foxes are now willing to offer him a new package closer to £100,000-a-week to fend off interest from other clubs.
The former Manchester United player was a key part of Leicester's title-winning season, providing eight assists and scoring three goals as the Foxes stunned the Premier League.
