Spurs target Coupet drops England hint

Olympique Lyon goalkeeper Gregory Coupet has hinted he's ready to move to Tottenham.

"I made up my mind 15 days ago. I already thought about it last season," Coupet told L'Equipe. "I wanted to decide when I would leave. That my children be proud of having my name.

"It can seem trivial, but I swear I have not signed with anybody. It is just a personal choice.

"If I can mix the family aspect and the sport one...I have a eight-year-old kid.

"If within two years, the time I give me for an adventure abroad, he can speak English, it would be amazing.

"But I am not closing the door to Germany or Spain.

"All that I wanted when I announced my decision was the club to put me on the transfer market.

"If OL can earn money thanks to me, I would be happy. Lyon will stay in my heart.

"If I do not find a club, I am ready to stop. Sincerely."
