Prospective new Tottenham signing Andrey Arshavin will have to mend some bridges before he completes his move to White Hart Lane.

The Zenit St Petersburg winger was critical of Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson ahead of Russia's clash with England last month.

Arshavin said: "I believe England do not have normal keepers. Robinson, putting it mildly, is not the strongest representative of his profession."
