Tottenham were among Premiership representatives at Ajax's clash with AZ Alkmaar.

Algemeen Dagblad says Blackburn Rovers, Sunderland and Tottenham all had scouts in the stands yesterday to check on Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

Ajax are ready to cash in on Stekelenburg and are already planning an approach for Vitesse Arnhem keeper Piet Velthuizen, who is aware of their interest.
