Tottenham Hotspur ace Dele Alli is known for his versatility on the pitch, but he admits that he prefers to play as a No 10.

The 20-year-old, who has now scored 14 league goals for the North London side this season, was on target in the hard-earned 2-1 win over Southampton on Sunday.

"I enjoy playing as a No 10," Alli said.

"I am happy to play anywhere in this team. If the manager wants to push me higher in some games, then I am happy to do that for the team.

"But I think I am a midfielder."
