Tottenham captain Michael Dawson admits it took him three days to recover from their defeat to West Ham United.

Spurs face Aston Villa this weekend.

"The first three days when I woke up my first thought was 'how did we lose that game?'" he told the club's website.

"We were all gutted. It was never a 3-0 game. Defensively, it was massive disappointment. Now we have to put it right."
