Davinson Sanchez has explained choosing Tottenham over Barcelona this summer.

The former Ajax defender confirms he had an offer from Barca, but the one from Spurs was far more attractive.

Sanchez explained: "Barcelona for me has always been among the best in the world and has always been an elite club, at the top of the best in the world but the conditions in which I was going to arrive were not indicated, they were not the best.

"Fortunately a decision was made not thinking about marketing but football."
