Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has dropped a huge hint that Hugo Lloris is set to sign a new deal at White Hart Lane.

Following much speculation, Tottenham were finally able to tie down star striker Harry Kane to a brand new contract on Thursday and now Spurs have turned their attention towards securing the future of goalkeeper Lloris as well.

In news that will serve as music to the ears of Spurs fans, Pochettino has now gone on to drop a huge hint that the French international will also be committing himself to the North London outfit in the coming weeks.

The Argentine manager said: "Maybe in the next few days you will receive some news.

"Hugo is a very ambitious player but he is very happy here.

"Only I can tell you he is very happy and he wants success here and to stay here at Tottenham. That is his ambition."
