Tottenham are seeking outside investment to help fund their bid for Barcelona ace Samuel Eto'o, it has been revealed.
The People says Spurs are believed to be sounding out sponsors in a bid to find the £40,000-a-week shortfall in the wages needed to net Eto'o.
Manager Juande Ramos wants the £27million-rated star to replace the departing Dimitar Berbatov.
The club's strict wage structure has a ceiling of £60,000-a-week, which is being paid to new recruit Luka Modric, but Eto'o wants £100,000. That has prompted Spurs to sound out sponsors.
