Tottenham have recalled Jake Livermore from his loan at Hull City.
Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is a big fan of 24-year-old Livermore and has invoked a clause that allows him to bring the midfielder back to White Hart Lane just five months after he was sent to Humberside on a season-long loan by his predecessor Andre Villas-Boas, says the Daily Mail.
Livermore would have been ineligible to face Spurs under Premier League rules governing parent clubs but it is still a huge blow to Bruce who saw him playing an important part in Hull's relegation battle over the coming weeks.
