Tottenham have joined the battle for Villarreal striker Luciano Vietto. Vietto's agent revealed this week the interest of Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Marca says Spurs have sent scouts to watch the young striker in action this season, while Madrid have followed him closely since the start of the year and are weighing up a summer move.

Vietto has a fairly affordable €20m release clause in his current contract, but Villarreal are keen to renew his deal and increase the value of his buyout fee.
