Spurs, RB Leipzig target Lookman set for crunch Everton talks

Everton striker Ademola Lookman is set for crunch talks over his future this week.

The Mirror says Toffees chiefs are due to sit down with the in-demand youngster and outline their plans for him under new boss Marco Silva.

Exciting forward Lookman, 20, is not among the players Everton are hoping to offload this summer but his future remains uncertain.

While the Toffees are reluctant to let him go, Lookman is keen to move on for a fresh start after struggling for regular football during his time at Goodison Park.

RB Leipzig are keen to sign Lookman permanently after he impressed during his loan spell with the Bundesliga side in the second half of last season to help them reach the Europa League.

RB Sporting director Ralf Ragnick said: “If it were only up to us, then I would already know the answer.

“But it's not only up to us – there's no option in his contract.

“We'll have to see what happens in the summer, and it also depends on what happens at Everton."

Tottenham and Southampton are also keeping tabs on Lookman's situation.
