Toulouse striker Andre-Pierre Gignac admits he wants a move to England.

Gignac has been linked with Portsmouth and also counts on Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp as among his fans.

He said: "Seeing your name linked to prestigious clubs is always good, but my career at the highest level has just started.

"I need to prove myself before moving abroad. I keep my feet on the ground and keep on working hard to play well for Toulouse.

"Nevertheless, I like English football and watch it a lot on television."
