Middlesbrough winger Adam Johnson is a target for Tottenham.
Johnson is growing restless for a regular game and was due to go out on loan for a second spell after a brief stay at Watford, where he was recalled when Gareth Southgate had an injury crisis. But he was kept back by Boro and is only making brief appearances as a sub.
However, he has done enough to catch the eye of Tottenham, who like to buy young English talent.
Boro will look for a fortune but Spurs have players to throw into the deal, with keeper Paul Robinson a possibility as Ramos has said he can go.
