Spurs offer cash, Robinson for Man City's Hart

The Daily Mail says Spurs manager Juande Ramos sees Hart, who was called up to Fabio Capello's England squad this week, as the best-value prospect in the country and wants him to form the foundation to Tottenham's attempt to break into the top four next season.

Hart is among a clutch of players who have become increasingly disillusioned with the developments at Eastlands during the past two months which have seen manager Sven Goran Eriksson pushed aside. That has left Spurs believing Hart can be tempted to make the move south.

They value the 6ft 3ins keeper at around £6m and will look to offer that in cash plus fallen star Robinson as a £4m makeweight.
