Spurs No2 Poyet won't deny Robinson exit

Paul Robinson's future remains in doubt after he was again left on the bench for Tottenham's 2-0 defeat by Chelsea.

Radek Cerny, preferred for the midweek Carling Cup draw with Arsenal, was again selected by Juande Ramos for the London derby.

When asked if the England international had handed in a transfer request, Spurs number two Gus Poyet did not issue a denial.

He told Sky Sports: "I would say no comment, because I don't know. You are the first one to tell me that.

"I don't know. We like him. We said last week there is nothing wrong with Robbo. He's part of the team and was involved today in the squad."
