Tottenham assistant coach Kevin Bond says fans should trust Harry Redknapp's judgement in terms of his signings.

Fans' forums have been peppered with posts from fans feeling very underwhelmed by the signings of Louis Saha and Ryan Nelsen, and to a lesser extent they are also worried the club's decision to let Steven Pienaar, Sebastien Bassong, Vedran Corluka and Roman Pavlyuchenko go has left Redknapp short of cover.

But Bond said: "I don't look at message boards and those who are on there are entitled to their opinion. But with the greatest respect I would be trusting Harry's judgement.

"We think it is good business for us. I think we're a stronger squad now. The January window has freshened it up.

"Harry felt that one or two of them needed to go out to play some football and the others have come in and are ready to play their part. It's been a good window for us."
