Spurs name King in Prague squad

England defender Ledley King has been included in the Tottenham squad due to leave for Prague today for their Uefa Cup tie at Slavia.

King made his most recent appearance in last month's 5-1 Carling Cup defeat of Arsenal and has since been sidelined by a long-standing knee injury. The joint swells after games and needs to be rested before he can play again, and Spurs are anxious to have their captain for the Carling Cup final against Chelsea in 10 days' time.

England are top of Uefa's fair-play rankings and will secure an extra Uefa Cup spot, starting in the first qualifying round, if they remain there when the final standings are calculated at the end of April.
