Tottenham are banking on Adriano delaying signing his new contract at Sevilla.

The Brazilian is a top target for Spurs boss Juande Ramos, who is desperate to strengthen the left-side of his midfield.

Adriano is inside the final two years of his current contract and his agent is due to fly in from Brazil next week for a fresh round of negotiations. Inter Milan are also monitoring developments.
