Lewis Holtby rates Tottenham's thrashing at Manchester City the worst defeat of his career.

Spurs have spent the week licking their wounds after the 6-0 humiliation at the Etihad.

Holtby posted on Facebook: "It's hard to accept.

"I could not sleep, it was probably the most painful defeat in my career. Sorry to all Spurs fans. We must show character and fight back."
