Premier League clubs are being warned off Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Dutchman has been linked with Tottenham and Manchester United.

But FC Twente No2 Youri Mulder says: "I do not know if he is good enough for the top.

"At Schalke he can show what makes him strong. In the penalty area, lurking for goals. There he is one of the best in the world. But at an absolute top club it is different, a lot more sprinting is involved.

"He is not so strong in this area."
