Premiership clubs are scrambling for the services of Sheffield United fullback Kyle Naughton.

The Mirror says Fulham, Manchester City and Tottenham are ready to join Aston Villa in the race to land Naughton.

Villa boss Martin O'Neill is a fan of the 20-year-old Sheffield United defender and is preparing to launch a £4million move in the summer.

O'Neill has already made a number of personal checks on the Sheffield-born England Under-21 ace.

But with City, Spurs and Fulham also long-term admirers, the Blades are now bracing themselves for a summer auction.
