Spurs, Liverpool go for Cardiff pair Marshall, Caulker

Tottenham are preparing a double raid on relegated Cardiff City.

The Mirror says Tottenham are planning a double swoop for Cardiff's David Marshall and Steven Caulker.

England defender Caulker, who like midfielder Gary Medel has a release clause in his contract, only left White Hart Lane for the Welsh capital last summer.

But the north Londoners are thought to be keen to bring the 22-year-old back to the Lane and also want Scotland keeper Marshall - although they could face competition from Liverpool for the pair.
