Premier League clubs have a ten day deadline to close a deal with Barcelona for David Villa. The Daily Star says Tottenham are understood to be the front-runners to sign the striker - but Arsenal and Liverpool are also interested in bringing him to England.

Villa, 31, is currently preparing for the Confederations Cup with Spain, who play their opening game on June 16.

And that'll be the deadline to get a bid in as a few good showings on the world stage will see the fee sky-rocket.
