Tottenham legend Teddy Sheringham says his old club must win something this season to justify their summer spending spree.
The former England man believes Tottenham must aim to win the Europa League and finish in the Premier League top four with the players at their disposal.
"They have to be better than last year with the amount of money that they've spent," he said.
"I know they've got the money back in for Bale but when you go out and buy six, seven, eight top players - I would fully expect them to win the Europa League and to get into the Champions League with the sort of squad they have and the amount of money they've splashed."
