Former Tottenham and Chelsea boss Glenn Hoddle is open to taking the England U21 job.

Young Lions boss Stuart Pearce is facing the axe after his kids' Euro 2013 shocker.

Hoddle said: "I wouldn't do it unless they change the rules, it's as simple as that.

"Why would anybody be interested in the job when the FA take your biggest weapon - your best players - away? It would be a difficult one."

But he also said: "I've never shut the door on management. I've had my own academy, developing players between 18 and 21."
