Tottenham legend David Ginola believes Gareth Bale will soon be regarded the world's best.

Ginola believes it's only a matter of time before Bale is regarded as one of the game's greats.

"I don't know if he is [at the same high level as Messi and Ronaldo]. He has to play more in the Champions League and competitions like that. But there's no doubt the kid is brilliant," Ginola told talkSPORT.

"He is awesome. I've seen him play so many times and he can make the difference. He has got the pace, he has got the strength, he has got the vision. He has got everything to be at the top alongside players like Messi and Ronaldo.

"At the moment the club is trying to find a way to be play better football and Gareth Bale is probably the key. But he can't play on his own, he has to rely on other players in the team.

"It will be complicated this season and it will complicated as well for the club to keep a player like Gareth Bale for some years."
